A blend of softer second cut Timothy, and native grasses of forage to AB/SK. (Rye, Bluegrass, Orchard, Brome, etc)
 
Compressed Squares are blended from various fields for consistency in content, texture and colour.
The sourcing and blending of bulk hay utilizes both irrigated and dry land production within the Canadian Parries leading to a consistent year round hay source.
 
Compressed Square Bales have a better feed quality per bale than "Regular Squares" as they are air washed to remove dust, mold and allergens. The process also removes heavy contaminants like rocks, metal and bone. With no foreign materials and less dust per bale, there is less concern about accidental indigestion of foreign bodies, insects or toxic weeds (ie: foxtail)
 
Bales are small size thus take up less room in storage and are easier to handle. They do not fall apart when being handled, so there is less loss in storage and transport. Compressed bales weigh aprox 40 lbs each.
 
Compressed Bales are available in a Timothy Grass blend ONLY, as the alfalfa flower tends to break off of the stalk and become dusty in the compression process.
